Required Insurance Updates for Transferred Accounts

You’ll need to notify your insurance company as soon as possible that your loan was transferred to us, even if your account is not escrowed.

Give the insurance company the new loan number and have them update the Mortgagee Clause on your account to:

Nationstar Mortgage LLC
Its Successors and/or Assigns
PO Box 7729
Springfield, OH 45501

Why does it say “Nationstar Mortgage LLC” instead of “Mr. Cooper”?
Nationstar Mortgage LLC is the official name of our legal entity and is the name that needs to be on record with the insurance provider.

For escrowed accounts, let them know that they’ll receive payments from us going forward. If your insurance company doesn’t have this information, we won’t receive your annual policy renewal in order to pay it on time. Additionally, if there is ever damage to the property, the insurance provider needs our Mortgagee Clause information to ensure that we get the loss claim to cover the repairs.

Note: If you had optional insurance products (like life insurance or disability coverage) through your previous servicer, these products may not transfer and could be cancelled. We suggest contacting your insurance provider and arranging to pay them directly for these policies.
