Tyler Sharp is a photographer, writer, and creative director. He specializes in environmental portraiture, Americana & western lifestyle, travel and adventure documentary. He has sojourned extensively on assignment and slept under the stars in some of the most remote regions of the world.

A Texas native, Tyler attended USC in Los Angeles, where he studied photography, film, psychology and Italian. Pursuing his passion for the outdoors, Tyler spent several years filming for various TV shows for the Outdoor, Travel and Sportsman Channel, which took him to nearly 25 countries and on countless adventures. Tyler is based out of WELD, a creative co-working studio in Dallas, Texas, but also operates out of Austin, and Nashville, Tenn. Tyler recently started working with Stetson Hats in Garland, Texas, where he’s helping expand the visual presence of the historic brand and pursue brand collaborations. He is also a contributor to Garden & Gun Magazine, Covey Rise, the Filson Life Blog, Texas Highways, Pictory Magazine and has work in the National Geographic permanent archive. A writer before he was a photographer, Tyler has been inking and collaging in notebooks since he was 12 years old. Still preferring longhand, he is attempting to keep letter writing alive, as well as dabbling in calligraphy. Tyler hopes to write children’s books one day.
