Lindsey Dunnagan

Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Lindsey Dunnagan eventually moved to Texas and received a Bachelor of Environmental Design Architecture from Texas A&M in 2007. After college, she briefly worked as an architectural intern before deciding to join the US Peace Corps. From 2007-2009, Lindsey worked with artisans as a small business development volunteer in Morocco. After returning to the United States in 2009, she decided to change careers from architecture to art. Lindsey recently completed a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting and drawing from Texas Woman’s University and is currently teaching college art courses while working on a Master of Arts degree in Art History. Lindsey uses diverse methodologies to explore ideas of memory and place in her artwork. She is a three-time Hunting Art Prize Finalist and has shown nationally in solo and juried exhibitions. Her work was recently published in the 120 West edition of New American Paintings.
