Leigh Ann Williams Hickey is a working artist and educator residing in Fort Worth, Texas. She received a BFA in printmaking from Texas Christian University in 1993 and an MFA in painting from Texas Woman’s University in 2010. She has been an art educator since 1998 and is currently Associate Professor of Graphic Design and Gallery Curator at The Art Institute of Fort Worth.

She received a Fulbright Hays scholarship from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007. Leigh Ann has been a part of numerous juried and group exhibitions throughout the United States. She won the JT Webber Oil Award and the Wyatt Black Memorial cash award at the 42nd Annual Visual Arts Society of Texas National Visual Arts Exhibition. Her work has been featured on the spring 2010 cover of Article Magazine, and she was featured in Indulge Magazine in October of 2013. She was selected to participate in the 42 murals project in Dallas and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra’s Painted Violin in 2015.
