“Colors of blue and red are combined with mirrors to create an environment in which the viewer can contemplate on what ideas are and how they are born. In the Mexican cosmology, ‘atlachinolli’ translates to fire and water and helps us understand the idea that all that exists has two forces that combine to form another one in harmony with all that exists. This piece challenges the viewer to be the force that can create new ideas by seeing their own reflection on the work, allowing them to find themselves in a creative process in the search for innovation.”
