For Aubrey Brown, Operations Support Specialist, her passion for learning allowed her to excel in her Customer Service Associate role and helped her to move up in the company. Aubrey is an Ambassador for new hires in Chandler, Arizona, who enjoys working with them and watching their amazing journeys unfold. Read on to find out more about her experience in customer service at Mr. Cooper.

Did you know anything about Mr. Cooper or mortgage servicing in general before entering your role?

I had no idea who Mr. Cooper was or anything about the mortgage industry. In fact, I was a little nervous initially after having spent six years working as a 911 dispatcher, but I was very excited to learn more about mortgage servicing. This was a whole new world for me, and I wanted to learn as much as I could about the company, the industry, and customer experience so I could offer the best service by adding value to every customer engagement.

What advice would you give to someone interested in a customer service role with Mr. Cooper?

You will learn so much in this position! I would say the best thing to do is to be willing to learn and be coachable. With all you will learn, you will have the capacity to make every customer interaction a great experience. In my short time here, I have worked in Customer Service, Default, and transitioned to my current role assisting our new hire classes as an Ambassador! I believe it was my passion for learning that helped me get to where I am today.

How would you describe the Mr. Cooper culture?

I’ve been with Mr. Cooper just over two amazing years. Mr. Cooper is truly a home for me and more than just a job. I view my fellow Coopers as an extension of my family and look forward to each day as we celebrate assisting customers in overcoming challenges they may face. We laugh, we cry, we celebrate as one! I believe each of us hold the keys to our success and Mr. Cooper provides the platform to grow and develop to be our best!
