What Are You Thankful for? Homegrown Interns Reflect on Their 2022 Internships

Thanksgiving is a time for us to reflect on things that we are most thankful for. In celebration of the holiday, we asked our interns to share some thoughts on their Mr. Cooper Homegrown experience. Check out what Princess, Serenity, Victoria, and Jeremy had to say!

Princess, Graphic Design Intern

I am thankful for the opportunity to intern for a company that is the complete opposite of the stereotypical corporate environment. The culture here is extremely friendly and inclusive across all departments! I love the fact that Mr. Cooper invests and values their creative department, which is something that you wouldn’t expect from a mortgage company.

Serenity, Corporate Social Responsibility Intern

I am thankful for the connections that I have made during my time here. It’s exciting to be a part of such an amazing team and I know that the relationships I’ve built with them will remain well after the internship is over.

Victoria, Product Analyst Intern

I am most thankful for the people at Mr. Cooper because everyone has been extremely friendly and welcoming! I have experienced nothing but continuous support and positivity while being here. If it wasn’t for this amazing work environment, I don’t think I would have felt as comfortable as I do now.

Jeremy, Procurement Analyst Intern

I am grateful for my hiring manager, mentor, and team members. They have given me relevant exposure to the procurement industry, and value my opinions the same way they would a full-time employee.
